The Three Stooges

There’s been a lot of industry buzz lately regarding who will portray the masters of slapstick in Bobby and Peter Farrelly‘s big screen adaptation of The Three Stooges for 20th Century Fox.

It’s my great honor and pleasure to share that I’ve been cast as Curly in the Farrelly brothers’ love letter to the Stooges.

Curly Howard has always been a comedy hero of mine and as one of the fathers of physical comedy, his style is one that I’ve found myself emulating time and again in my career. I truly can’t wait to have the living shit beat out of me to the delight of Stooges fans, new and old.

“There will be non-stop slapping, more in the tone of Dumb and Dumber than anything else we’ve done,” Peter Farrelly said in an interview with Deadline. “Our goal is 85 minutes of laughs in a film that will be very respectful of who the Stooges were. It’s by far the riskiest project we’ve ever done, without question, but it is also the one closest to our hearts.”

Production begins shortly in Atlanta and I’m really looking forward to working with the Farrellys. It’s long been a dream of mine.

More details will be made public soon.
